Tucked away near Distrito Tec, this spot quietly draws a mixed crowd, from university students grabbing a quick bite between classes to families settling in for a casual dinner. The menu centers around straightforward, satisfying tacos—especially those served on soft flour tortillas with asadero cheese and tender, flavorful meat sliced from a vertical spit. Popular choices include the Campechanas, offering a blend of chicken and beef, and the trompo, which tends to linger in the memory thanks to its well-seasoned, juicy slices.
The atmosphere is unpretentious and cosy, with a calm buzz that suits both solo diners looking for a simple meal and groups catching up. The space is easy to navigate, welcoming those who appreciate accessibility and a relaxed setting. Counter and table service accommodate different moods, whether you’re stopping by for a quick taco or lingering over a soup or some frijoles charros before your main.
While the food moves quickly from kitchen to table, it’s clear that individual preferences matter — adding grilled onions, lime, or salsa to tailor each taco is common here. Even late at night, the inviting aroma of meat roasting on the spit hints at the continued flow of customers who value a casual, flavorful experience without fuss. With a solid offering of organic options and amenities like free street parking and reliable Wi-Fi, this place fits comfortably into the neighborhood’s varied dining scene, making it a spot people return to when craving familiar, well-executed tacos near the Tecnologico area.

"Good quality and good price and perfect service"
"Love this place every time I come into town its a must location for tacos."
"I reccomend the Campechanas tacos, with chicken and the beef together."
5 The tacos here are pretty great, especially for the price point. Good for a spot that's open late as well. The enticing smell of chicken on a spit as you walk past is welcoming, and a sign of the good food inside. I reccomend the Campechanas tacos, with chicken and the beef together.
5 Must order campechana and trompo! Add condiments such as raw onions, grilled onions and lime to make it your “own” taco. Provided us complimentary soup which was awesome (:
5 Clean, good service and delicious! Every time I got here, im so hungry. I like the detail that they ask you want you want to eat and serve you really fast. I always enjoyed eating here. Recommend to ask for the frijolitos as entree before any tacos you choose.
5 Been eating here for months, good prices, really nice people, my recommendation is trompo and Campechanas
4 Probably some of the best tacos de trompo near Tec de Monterrey, meat was tender and flavorful. Bistec tacos were good also, tender meat. I liked that they use thin corn tortillas. I was not impressed with the charro beans, they lacked flavor and were watery. I’m only giving them 4 stars because their bistec tacos do not come with grilled onions & baby potatoes, and their trompo tacos didn’t come with grilled pineapple like many other places in town that offer that. Other than that they were good
4 No need to try the Wagyu trompo; you're not missing anything. Something goes for the horchata with melon. Recommended: ribs and asada tacos.
5 Really the best tacos ever. Corn tortilla just amazing! Really delicious! I'll be back again before I leave Monterrey. Wow!
4 It looks like there's a lot of meat in the tacos. It seems like a good value for money. I went there on a Saturday night at 8pm and about half the place was full. It seems like there are a lot of families. I parked on the street or in the parking lot of the pharmacy across the street. There's a lot of dust around here because there's construction going on. Overall, it's a good place. Go there at least once.
The Campechana and trompo tacos come highly recommended by many regulars, especially with added condiments like grilled onions and lime.
It’s great for both quick bites and relaxed meals, with fast counter service and comfortable seating options.
The spot is popular for lunch, dinner, and late-night cravings, so visiting outside typical meal hours might give you a quieter experience.
